Color

The most common question for a designer from there client is "what color should I choose".
When it comes to choosing a colour or a combination of colours, there are no strict rules.  But have said that there are many factors to take into consideration. Architecture of the room, the purpose, size and direction of a room and most importantly light. All of these elements should be considered as they will contribute to the changing appearance of colours in your space.
I would suggest before making your final colour choice, I recommend that you test selected paint colours in the room to be decorated.  Most companys have small test pots or large color chips to purchase for roughly $5 per pot.  It is a good idea to brush the paint on a thicker piece of paper and tape it to the wall once it is dry.  It is important to review the color in the light and time of day you are in the room.  I would suggest reviewing the color over a period of 72 hours before you commit.
